I have been changing my oil about every 300 miles or so also replaced the air filter 4 times. It is currently in the shop however the service guys seem to think that it may not be under warranty. I do know that warranties do not cove abuse and neglect. I feel that i have done neither. It makes me very angry that polaris wont back up their product when they know that it was a design flaw, if it wasnt an issue they wouldnt be offering their extra 18 monthwarranty and sending the ""NEW AND IMPROVED AIRFILTER"" . the piont is they know that their is a problem, and if they continue to give us the consumer the runaround then we will likely get wise to this and make sure that our next puchase is one that will not include polaris industries. For the cost of these great machines the company needs to come up with a better system and not leave it to an after market manufacturer. The bike has 62 hrs on it and sucked in dust after the boot came off the throttle body. It's been in the shop now 2 weeks and dealer has still not touched it. If Polaris does not cover this under warranty there is a class action lawsuit and I will also put my name in. Polaris should act on this responsibly and quickly but they are not so far. My dealer denied knowing anything about this problem. I do know Polaris has sent out a bulletin giving an extended warranty of 18 months past your six month warranty for dust related problems.
